Woncheon Scholarship
  • A student with outstanding academic grades and an upright character
  • Selection in the order of grades from the previous semester for each year (freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior)Only for those who have English Language Proficiency scores)
  • Each department has different application requirements; hence, you must check with your department.
  • Yulgok Scholarship: 50% of tuition fee exempted
  • Dasan Scholarship: 40% of tuition fee exempted
  • Woncheon Scholarship: 30% of tuition fee exempted

  • A student who has promoted the honor of the university through student self-government activities
  • Leader Scholarship A: President and vice president of the student council for the university
  • Leader Scholarship B: President and vice president of the student council for the college and equivalent officers of the self-governing body
  • Leader Scholarship C: President and vice president of the student council for the department and equivalent officers of the self-governing body
  • Provide support for academic support expenses (100% of Tuition fee)
  • Provide support for academic support expenses (70% of tuition fee)
  • Provide support for academic support expenses (30% of tuition fee)
Ajou Welfare Scholarship
Ajou Hope Scholarship
  • A student must have applied for a national scholarship, or else they are not eligible for this scholarship. The student must have passed the family income level assessment by Korea Student Aid Foundation (family income level must be between zero and eight)
  • This scholarship allows the student to receive multiple benefits from the national and academic scholarships within the maximum tuition range.
  • Separate application is not required for the Ajou Welfare Scholarship. Each department has different application requirements for the Ajou Hope Scholarship; hence, you must check with your department.

  • A student whose family is in a difficult financial circumstance and able to work at school
  • A student may receive benefits from other scholarships as well
9,160 won per hour in 2022 (10,060 won per hour at the library and a few departments) A student may work a maximum of 200 hours per semester.

  • Eligibility
    • A student whose family is in a difficult financial circumstance and able to work at school
    • A student may receive benefits from other scholarships as well
  • Benefit 9,160 won per hour in 2022 (10,060 won per hour at the library and a few departments) A student may work a maximum of 200 hours per semester.
  • Students must have earned 12 or more credits in the previous semester and have an average GPA of 2.00 or higher to be eligible for all scholarships, except for scholarships for which separate grade standards are applied. Students who have exceeded the limit for the number of semesters are not eligible for these scholarships.
  • The purpose of academic support expenses is to support expenses required for academic activities other than tuition reduction or exemption.
  • The cost-of-living scholarship is one that supports students with an amount other than the tuition. There are Academic Encouragement scholarships, Award scholarships, Work-based scholarships, Leader Scholarships, Self-development Scholarships, Specialized Scholarships, Dean¡¯s Recommendation Scholarships, Overseas Training Scholarships, Volunteer Scholarships, Dormitory Expense Scholarships, Upright Scholarships, Research Scholarship, etc.
